The caretaker Prime Minister said recently that people have “accepted” the election results and we should “move on”. However, this view seems too positive for a very complicated situation.
Many are not ready to “move on” because of the election results. Some are so upset that political enemies are coming together to challenge these results.
The Prime Minister also ignored worries about the election being unfair. He said people think the election was rigged because mobile services were cut and results were late by 36 hours. But the real concern is about the actions of some officials, which the Prime Minister did not address while trying to dismiss the critics.
