Historic Victory : India’s Stunning Performance Against South Africa in the T20 World Cup Showdown

Today in Barbados, India lifts its first ICC Trophy in 13 Years, and has won its second T20I World Cup after a successful outcome of 7 leading runs against South Africa. After a very crucial and predominant game for the Indian Cricket Team, Cricket legend Virat Kohli who was the former captain of India for 9 years, has announced its retirement from T20I after receiving the player of match award with a wonderful innings of 76 Runs off just 56 deliveries.  

Rohit Sharma, who is the current captain of India, lifted the trophy for its team and was also the leading run scorer for India in the tournament. Jasprit Bumrah, was designated as the Player of the Tournament, after taking 15 Wickets in 8 games. A couple of records broken as well in the contest, as India becomes the first country to win an ICC tournament being undefeated, moreover looking at the opponent side, Heinrich Klaasen broke the record of the fastest fifty in a World Cup Final, attaining 52 Runs off 27 balls. The men in blue did it once again in the concluding overs of the Final, turning the game around to its side.
